Who this policy covers
Image Tools is a free set of image utilities: compress, resize, crop, rotate, convert, watermark, GIF, SVG, HEIC, TIFF, and background removal. There is no account and no sign-in.
This policy describes that website. It is written in plain language so you can see what happens to a picture before you use a tool.
Your images
When you select or drop a file, the page reads it in your browser. The edit and the download are created there. The picture is not sent to our server, not kept in a library, and not used to train a model.
Closing or refreshing the page clears the file from the tool. The download is a new image. Hidden details from the original, such as camera location, are not copied into that new file.
We do not sell images, and we do not ask you to create an account in order to edit. There is no cloud drive and no sync to another service.
Background removal
The background tool downloads a model into your browser the first time you use it. That file is the model, not your photo. The cutout still runs on your device.
Your browser may keep the model in its cache so the next visit is faster. You can remove it by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.
What is saved on your device
Two small choices may be stored in this browser only: the light or dark theme you pick, and, if advertising is switched on later, whether you accepted ads. These are preferences, not an account, and they are not a profile we hold.

Advertising
The site can show ads later. Until an ad client is added, no advertising script is loaded, and the spaces reserved for ads stay empty.
If ads are turned on, a short notice appears first. The ad script loads only after you accept. Google AdSense may then use cookies as described in Google’s own policies. The tools still work if you do not accept.
Cookies
The editing tools do not set tracking cookies. A theme choice, and an ad choice if you make one, stay in local storage on your device.
If you accept ads, Google may set its own cookies. Your browser settings are the control for blocking or deleting those cookies.
Connection logs
The pages are ordinary files delivered by a host. That host, such as Cloudflare, may keep standard connection logs — for example an IP address, browser type, and the page address — to run and protect the network.
Those logs are about the request for the page. They are not a copy of the image you edited. This site does not add its own analytics.
Children
The tools are general-purpose and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, because we do not collect accounts or uploaded photos.
Changes to this policy
If this text changes, the new version will replace this page and the date at the top will change. The date above is the version you are reading.
Contact
There is no account to correct or delete, because we do not hold your images. A public contact address, if one is added later, will be listed on this page.
